Welcome to the faculty of Education and languages. This is the oldest faculty in the University and suffices to say that it is as old as the University itself. The faculty started with one program i.e. the External or Holiday program. Later on the full time program was added to make the two programs the faculty currently has.
The Holiday program is for the in service teachers who wish to upgrade their academic and professional credentials at two levels i.e. Grade III teachers’ certificate holders train to attain a diploma in Education primary External and the diploma in education primary holders are trained to holders trained to attain a bachelor of education External.
The full time program has a 2 year diploma in secondary education both in arts and sciences and a 3 year Bachelor of Arts degree with education (BAED) and Bachelor of Science degree with education (BSCED).
Apparently, the faculty has two department (Education and Languages full-Time and Education and Languages In-Service Program ) headed by Mrs. Achom Santa.
