On Friday, 19th September 2025, Kumi University Chaplancy, in collaboration with the Dean of Students’ Office organized a powerful Spiritual Guidance Program for all new students at the Truth Auditorium.
The event attracted over 400 students together with cell leaders and assistants, who gathered for an afternoon of worship, testimonies, gospel messages, and fellowship. The program featured opening prayers, inspiring messages from the chaplaincy team and brothers in Christ, uplifting praise songs, and student testimonies.

Speaking at the event, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Jong-In Hong, emphasized the purpose of the program, stating: “I believe that most students need opportunities to hear the true gospel message so that they can accept Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord. Additionally, I hope that our new students will join cell groups, where they can continue to grow in their faith through Bible study, Christian fellowship, and outreach programs during vacation time.”
The climax of the day was the cell group meetings, which enabled new students to connect with existing cell groups for continuous spiritual mentorship, fellowship, and discipleship. The program ended with dinner in the respective cell groups, fostering closer bonds of Christian brotherhood and sisterhood.

Kumi University remains committed to nurturing both academic excellence and spiritual growth, ensuring that students are holistically developed to impact society with knowledge, faith and integrity.
