Kumi University Hosts Successful NCHE Inspection for HEAC Science Curriculum Accreditation
Kumi University is pleased to announce the successful completion of the National Council for Higher Education (NCHE) inspection held on 26th and 27th June 2025. This crucial visit followed the university’s submission of the Higher Education Access Certificate (HEAC) curriculum for accreditation, specifically targeting science-related courses.
The NCHE inspection team thoroughly assessed various aspects of the university to ensure alignment with national standards and requirements for science education. Areas reviewed included infrastructure, staffing, laboratories, the university library, office facilities, utilities, farm, land availability, and overall institutional capacity.
We are proud to report that the inspection process was smooth and successful. This milestone reflects the university’s strong commitment to academic excellence, quality assurance, and the expansion of access to science education in Uganda and beyond.
