KUMU Staff 0 Vs 4 Step FM Staff

On Wednesday 27th Nov 2019,Kumi University hosted Step FM Staff  in a corporate Friendly football Match between Kumi University Staff and Step FM staff First Team, a game which commenced around 5:00 PM after one played between KUMU Guild Football Team and Step FM Internees’ Team earlier in the day.

The two matches ended with KUMU Guild Football Team 2 Vs 0 Step FM Internees’ Team meanwhile that between KUMU Staff  and Step FM staff First Team  ended 4 : 0 in favor of the later.

The said match is one of the activities in a series of one week long activities carried out as Kumi University Celebrates its 20 years of existence.

Through out the day, Blood Donation took place within Main campus. Thanks to all Kumi University Community members who gladly donated to save lives.

The two activities followed Cultural Gala that took place on Friday  22nd Nov, 2019 at the Main campus ground. The gala that had four participating Kumi University guild cultural Associations was won by TESDA – Teso Student’s Development Association followed by LASA – Lango Acholi Students association,  BSA Bantu Students Association and finally Sabin Student’s Association. Each of the Associations above was a warded UGX 300,000.

Thanks to Dean of students office for the perfect organisation of such a successful event. it was indeed colorful.

Next activities in the pipe line offered by a team of Korean Medics sponsored by Loving Concern Internationale are:

  1. Community medical camp (scheduled for Thursday 28th to Saturday 30th Nov, 2019) within University clinic where X-Ray, Ultra sound Services among others will be offered to any registered community member at a fee of 2,000 Shillings only.
  2. Construction of bus waiting shelter at Nyero Trading Center will also take place on Thursday 28th Nov, 2019.
  3. Cleaning of Public places such as health centers, Nyero Trading center etc. will also be done by Non medics of Loving concern International from Thursday 28th  to Saturday 30th Nov, 2019 .
  4. 15 Graduation and 20th Anniversary celebrations will take place on Friday 29th Nov, 2019.
